John Varvatos imagined up a modern man eager to dress up again without feeling stiff. Day-to-night outfits drew influence from Bowie and Hendrix in tall, sleek silhouettes of slim shoulders and waists. It was a world of blues, creams, sands and black highlighted with red and dashes of silver.
